The meeting was called to order at 8:15 AM by Vice Chairman Bonfiglio and roll call was answered by the following:

                         Jeffrey Lee                                                       Ward Northrup

                        Peggy Smith                                                     Vice Chairman Bonfiglio

It was noted for the record that Bruce Gimmy was running late.

The Commission adjourned the meeting to go out in the Town to look at various rights-of-way.

The following rights-of-way were visited:

r-o-w south of Town Hall property

r-o-w between Ocean Ave. and Coconut Lane

r-o-w at the end of Coconut Lane

r-o-w between Ocean Ave. and Hudson Ave.

Edith St. r-o-w east and west of A1A

Anna St r-o-w west of A1A

Corrine St. r-o-w

Thompson St. r-o-w

Chickasaw r-o-w

It should be noted for the record that Mr. Gimmy joined us before the first right-of-way and left the meeting after the eastern Edith St. right-of-way.

The meeting reconvened at 10:05 AM in the Town Hall.

Atty Spillias advised the Commission that two of their Monday morning meetings would land on holidays (10/14 and 11/11) and they would need to decide if they were going to not have meetings those weeks or have them on another day.

Vice Chair Bonfiglio advised that he was concerned with the dumping being done at the end of Coconut Lane and with the raising of some rights-of-way with new construction. He stated that he wanted Lisa Tropepe, Town Engineer, at the Monday morning meetings, if available, so that she can discuss any drainage implications on these properties. He stated that they would decide at the September 30th meeting which rights-of-way to discuss at which meetings.

Mr. Northrup advised that he would like ariel photos of these areas adding that he knew someone who could do this for the Town.

Mrs. Smith advised that she would like to know which rights-of-way are mowed and/or maintained by the Town maintenance department.

Atty Spillias advised that Town Clerk Hancsak was already researching to find any surveys available of the rights-of-way in question.

Adjournment

The meeting was adjourned at 10:10 AM .
