SPECIAL MEETING HELD BY THE TOWN COMMISSION FOR THE TOWN OF OCEAN RIDGE, FLORIDA, TO BE HELD IN THE TOWN HALL ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2003, AT 12:00 NOON.

The meeting was called to order and roll call was answered by the following:

                        Commissioner Aaskov              Commissioner Schulte

                        Commissioner Bingham             Mayor Kaleel

It was noted that Comm Willens was absent and the in-coming Commissioner Geoff Pugh was out of Town.

The meeting started at approximately 12:10 P.M.

ACTIONS AND REPORTS

1.                  CERTIFICATION OF ELECTION RESULTS

A.                 Official Election Results

1.                  Certified Copy Supplied by Supervisor of Elections

Town Clerk Hancsak advised that of the 1,411 registered voters, there were 395 votes cast. Of the 395, she explained, 2 were absentee ballots. She concluded that Kenneth Kaleel received 320 votes, Geoff Pugh received 230 and Jeffrey Willens received 192.

Comm Schulte moved that the results of the election be certified, seconded by Comm Aaskov.

Motion carried – Yea (4).

B.                 Seating of Two Commissioners

Town Clerk Hancsak swore in Kenneth Kaleel as a Commissioner and advised that Commissioner Pugh would be sworn in either prior to or at the next meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 12:20 P.M.
