Meeting of the Board of Adjustment of the Town of Ocean Ridge, Florida held on Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at 8:30 AM in the Town Hall meeting chambers.  

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Barlage and roll call was answered by the following:

III.       APPROVAL OF MINUTES

A.        December 10, 2003

Mr. Lucibella moved to adopt the December 10, 2003 minutes, seconded by Mr. Norem.  

Motion carried – Yea (5)  

IV.       REQUEST TO EXTEND THE VARIANCES THAT WERE GRANTED ON MARCH 12, 2003 TO HILENA FERNANDEZ, REPRESENTING AIDA E. FERNANDEZ, 16 ADAMS ROAD, OCEAN RIDGE FL FOR REDUCED SETBACKS, A 6’ PRIVACY WALL IN THE FRONT SETBACK FOR THE POOL AND THE ELEVATION OF 7.5’ FOR THE GARAGE  

Chairman Barlage summarized that the applicant received variances for the above referenced requests on March 12, 2003 and then subsequently received a one-time extension by the Town Manager in August of 2003.  He stated that the applicant has requested another extension citing in a letter that the architectural drawings are now completed and she has signed a contract with the builder.  

Mr. Lucibella questioned whether staff recommended approving the extension to which Town Manager Dailey advised that staff would recommend approving the extension.  

Mr. Lucibella moved to grant a six month extension, seconded by Mr. Norem.  

Motion carried – Yea (5) 

Town Clerk Hancsak advised the applicant that a letter would be forthcoming.
