The following list is recommendations or action taken by the Planning & Zoning Commission at June 18, 2007 meeting/s to be submitted to the Town Commission:

  1. Moved Not to Recommend a one-way street in either direction for Old Ocean Blvd.
  2. The Consensus of the P & Z Commission was for Simmons & White to perform the study relating to Old Ocean Blvd. and report back findings and recommendations in an approximate 30 day time period at which time another meeting will be scheduled to review the study. (The $5,000 funding for the study was already approved by the Town Commission at the June 11, 2007 regular meeting)
  3. Sitting as the Local Planning Agency (LPA) moved to Recommend submittal of the Evaluation Appraisal Report (EAR) to the state as prepared by Urban Design Studios
  4. Consensus to continue discussion regarding fencing around pools at their next meeting to be held in approximately 30 days
  5. Consensus that the P & Z Commission was in favor of permitting operating a business out of the home and directed staff and the attorney to review the impact of permitting the business and how it could be accomplished (possibly using the Boynton Beach code as a guide with the exception of permitting any sort of signage)
