Subject:      Summary of Actions Taken at Sept. 10, 2007 Tentative Budget Adoption and Regular Meeting

 

Mayor and Town Commissioners:

The following list is actions taken by the Commission at the meeting/s:

 

1.         Approved the Tentative Budget (4/1) of $5,480,829 with a millage rate of 4.7500     

2.         Proclaimed September as “National Sickle Cell Month”    

3.         Approved land development permit request for 6823 N Ocean Blvd. #1, Ocean Ridge for 383 sq ft addition east of the coastal construction control line

4.         Approved the minutes as presented for the Aug. 6, 2007 meeting       

5.         Directed staff to obtain proposal for landscaping improvements to Ocean Ave.

6.         Directed staff to research bidding procedures for other communities             

7.         Consensus to retain the services provided by SFRN, Inc.          

8.         Approved the FY 2005/06 audit as presented

9.         Ratified payments of $37,547.49 and $32,855.00 for Builders Risk Insurance for the New Town Hall/Police Complex

10.       Approved Comm Allison to attend Florida League of Cities seminar at a cost of $45.00
