Subject:      Summary of Actions Taken at Oct. 1, 2007 Regular Meeting

 

Mayor and Town Commissioners:

The following list is actions taken by the Commission at the meeting/s:

 

1.         Approved the minutes for Sept. 10 and 17, 2007 with 2 changes to Sept. 17, 2007 minutes       

2.         Authorized Filing of Garbage/Trash and Alarm Monitoring Liens for FY 2006/07

3.         Consensus that bidding procedure written in Code of Ordinances was adequate              

4.         Deferred Renewal of “No Seeum” Contract with Clarke Mosquito Control until representative appears at November meeting and also research number of months provided in original contract for possible cost savings    

5.         Approved to Advertise Request for Qualifications for Island Drive Bridge Design

6.         Appointed Comm Pugh as additional member to the Boynton Inlet Study Committee
