SPECIAL MEETING HELD BY THE TOWN COMMISSION FOR THE TOWN OF OCEAN RIDGE, FLORIDA, TO BE HELD IN THE TOWN HALL ON FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2008, AT 8:00 AM.

           

The meeting was called to order and roll call was answered by the following:

                        Commissioner Bingham             Commissioner Pugh

                                                                Mayor Kaleel

 

It was noted that Comm Allison was absent with notice.

 

ACTIONS AND REPORTS

1.                  CERTIFICATION OF ELECTION RESULTS

A.                 Official Election Results

1.                  Certified Copy Supplied by Supervisor of Elections

 

Town Clerk Hancsak advised that of the 1,443 registered voters, there were 508 votes cast. Of the 508, she explained, 29 were absentee ballots. She concluded that Betty Bingham received 373 votes (38.49%), Terry Brown received 385 (39.73%), Nancy L. Hogan received 82 (8.46%), and Hans C. Kahlert received 129 (13.31%).

 

Comm Bingham moved to certify the election results, seconded by Comm Pugh.

 

Motion carried – Yea (3).

 

B.                 Seating of Two Commissioners

Town Clerk Hancsak swore in Betty Bingham and Terry Brown as a Commissioner.

           

ADJOURNMENT

 

The meeting was adjourned at approximately 8:10 A.M.
