ORDINANCE NO. 542 AN ORDINANCE OF THE
TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF OCEAN RIDGE, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 67-58 OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, TO REDUCE THE MINIMUM PERMIT FEES; PROVIDING FOR
CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, Section
67-58, provides for the establishment by the Town Commission of permit fees for
permits issued under Article 3 of Chapter 67 of the Code of Ordinances; and
WHEREAS, the Town
Commission has established a permit fees schedule with the lowest minimum fee
being forty-five ($45.00) dollars; and WHEREAS, Section
67-58(b) establishes a minimum permit fee of fifty ($50.00) dollars; and WHEREAS,
the Town Commission is determined that the appropriate schedule of fees
requires a minimum permit fee of forty-five ($45.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE
IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COMISSION OF THE TOWN OF Section 1.
Amendment. Section 67-58(b) is hereby amended to read as follows: 1)
The minimum fee for permit applications
made under this article which the Town Commission can establish pursuant to
Sub-Section (a) above shall not be less than forty-five ($45.00) dollars.
Section 2.
Codification. This
ordinance shall be codified in the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Ocean
Ridge, Florida. Section 3.
Severability. If any word, clause, sentence, paragraph, section or
part thereof contained in this Ordinance is declared to be unconstitutional,
unenforceable, void or inoperative by a court of competent jurisdiction, such
declaration shall not affect the validity of the remainder of the Ordinance. Section 4. Repeal. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith shall be and the same are hereby repealed. Section 5.
Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon adoption. |
