AN ORDINANCE OF THE
TOWN COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the Local Planning Agency, after notice and public hearing, has considered the appropriateness of proposed amendments to the Recreation and Open Space and Capital Improvements Elements of the Comprehensive Plan of the Town of Ocean Ridge and has submitted its recommendation to the Town Commission; and WHEREAS, the Town
Commission, after notice and public hearing, voted to transmit the proposed
amendment to the State land planning agency for written comment and has
otherwise complied with applicable provisions of the Florida Statutes governing
amendments of Comprehensive Plans; and WHEREAS, the notice
and hearing requirements for Comprehensive Plan amendments, as set forth in the
Florida Statutes, have been satisfied; and WHEREAS, the Town
Commission has taken the recommendations of the Local Planning Agency and the
comments from the public into consideration. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COMISSION OF THE TOWN OF OCEAN RIDGE: Section 1.
The portions of the Goals, Policies and Objectives of the Recreation and
Open Space and Capital Improvements Elements of the Comprehensive Plan that are
hereby amended shall read as follows: Recreation and Open Space Element I.

9.3 ANALYSIS Fiscal Implications of Deficiencies and
Cost Estimates Based upon the Land Use Plan goals, any future project planning will give first priority to those projects that enhance the residential neighborhoods. This primarily takes the form of infrastructure upgrading. The principal fiscal implication is that given the size and tax base of Ocean Ridge, bonding and grants will be required to supplement the General Fund operating budget. This is particularly true of such potential long-term needs as storm sewer outfall elimination and sanitary sewer extension into the Town. Page
