Property Appraiser - This Home Page includes PAPA - the Property Appraiser's Public Access system which allows individuals to search property appraisal records.  The Property Appraiser is a Constitutional Officer elected to a term of four years.  The Property Appraiser determines the value of all real estate and other property for the purpose of taxation.   The Property Appraiser's Office is used by all taxing districts in the County.

Tax Collector - Through this page one can download various state forms and County license applications regarding vessels, vehicles, disabled parking, hunting, and fishing.  The Tax Collector is a Constitutional Officer elected to a term of four years.  The Tax Collector is responsible for collecting ad valorem (real estate and tangible personal property) taxes and non-ad valorem assessments (such as drainage and solid waste).

Sheriff - This site includes crime prevention information, tips and programs for all ages, and a handy direct link to the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles.  The Sheriff is the chief law enforcement officer in the County.  The Sheriff is a Constitutional Officer elected for a four-year term.  The Sheriff's Office is responsible for protecting the unincorporated areas of the County as well as some municipalities and administering the operations of the County Jail.  The Governor of the State of Florida exercises general supervision over the Sheriff to ensure the enforcement of State Laws.

South Florida Water Management District - Information on projects such as the Kissimmee River Restoration, Everglades and Florida Bay, Lake Okeechobee, and Central/SF Flood Control. 

Supervisor of Elections - Included on this site is election services, voter registration laws, absentee voter rules, poll workers, volunteers, and a calendar of scheduled elections.  The Supervisor of Elections is a Constitutional Officer elected to serve a four-year term.  The Supervisor of Elections runs all governmental elections in the County.  The Elections Office is also responsible for registering eligible County residents as voters, temporarily removing from the registration rolls the names of people who have not voted in two years or returned the renewal card mailed to them, and generally maintaining the registration rolls.
