mile per hour speed limits on all local roads located within the municipal
boundaries of the Town. |

- Accepting and approving the terms of utility easement from Turtle Beach of
Ocean Ridge Condominium Association, Inc. and authorizing the payment of
consideration set forth therein. |

and adopting the joint participation agreement with the FDOT for the

Urging
members of the Florida Legislature to support the following issues during
the 2007 Legislative Session. |

Expressing
opposition to House Bill 529 known as the “Consumer Choice Act of 2007”
(H529), urging Florida Legislative Representatives to refrain from any form
of support or co-sponsorship of H529 and to vote in opposition to H529,
urging Crist to advise House and Senate that he does not support. |

Approving
Palm Beach County’s Equal Employment Ordinance prohibiting discrimination in
employment on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age,
disability, familial status, marital status, or sexual orientation and
authorizing its inclusion in the Town’s employment applications and
policies. |

Find that the
expenditure of money in support of the proposed amendment to the Palm Beach
County Charter serves a public purpose; providing that the dissemination of
information concerning the impacts of this amendment on the citizens of the
County and the Town is essential to the health, safety, protection, and
welfare of the Town and its citizens. |

Authorizing
the Mayor or Town Manager to execute the federally funded subgrant agreement
and subsequent related documents for the grant to assist in the hardening of
the new Town Hall/Police Department Complex between the Town and State/DEM. |

municipal solid waste to designated facilities and for a municipal recycling
program between the Town and Solid Waste Authority. |

Authorizing the
execution of an interlocal agreement with the Tallahassee Community College
Police Department and the Ocean Ridge Police Department to utilize the
computer terminals for access to the National Crime Information Center and
the Florida Crime Information Center for law enforcement purposes. |

2008-08 -
Authorizing the Mayor
and Town Clerk to execute an interlocal agreement between Palm Beach County
and the Town by which the County will provide comprehensive radio repair
services and charge the Town for same. |

the execution of a mutual aid agreement whereby agencies may request or
render law enforcement assistance to the other for the purpose of

2009-01 -
Recognizing the "Building Citizenship in the Community: Back to Basics"
initiative of the Florida League of Cities, Inc. and pledging support this
statewide effort. |

2009-02 -
Approving the first admendment to the interlocal agreement to promote
undergrounding of utility facilities and related implementation activities
between the Town and Florida municipalities, and authorizing the Mayor and
Town Clerk to execute the same on behalf of the Town. |

2009-03
- Requesting the assistance of Governor Crist and Florida Department of
Transportation Secretary Kopelousos to prioritize the intercity rail
component of the FEC corridor project (from Jacksonville to Miami) as part
of the Federal Economic Stimulus package for the State of Florida. |

2009-04 - Requesting
Palm Beach County to allow the Town of Ocean Ridge to withdraw from the
county's library MSTU. |

countersign Town checks; and providing that this resolution shall continue
