COVID-19 Update #9

COVID-19 Update #9
March 31, 2020 at 3:00 PM

The Governor issued Executive Order Number 2020-87 suspending all vacation rental operations for the next 14 days.  Vacation rentals are prohibited from making new reservations or bookings and shall not accept new guests for check-in for the duration of the order, which may be extended.

Palm Beach County Officials issued an order yesterday directing the Stay Home – Stay Safe: Safer at Home Policy.  We continue to strongly urge people to stay home other than for critical activities such as taking care of your health and safety and obtaining necessary food and supplies.  Please take the extra effort to follow the recommendations in order to remain healthy, and to keep those around you healthy.  We need everyone’s help in spreading the word and setting the example that this is getting serious.

Today, our Police Department will begin to strictly enforce all State, County, and local emergency orders for the purpose of protecting the public.  This includes, but is not limited to, strict enforcement of beach closures which will include all sandy portions of the beach for all persons.

We will continue to update the public with new developments as things progress.  Please visit the Town’s website to view all COVID-19 updates and information from several sources, as information is updated and posted frequently.  And as always, the best source of information on COVID-19 can be found at www.cdc.gov or www.flhealth.org.

Remember, it is your moral and societal responsibility to stay home and help flatten the curve.
