COVID-19 Update #10

COVID-19 Update #10

April 1, 2020 at 4:00 PM

Today, the Governor issued “Stay at Home” Executive Order Number 2020-91 effective midnight April 2, 2020 mandating that all persons in Florida shall limit their movements and personal interactions outside of their home to only those necessary to obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities.  The order mandates that senior citizens and individuals with a significant underlying medical condition shall stay at home and take all measures to limit the risk of exposure to COVID-19.

After review of the most recent statistics available in Florida and learning that Palm Beach County leads Florida in deaths from COVID-19, we urge you to adhere to the mandate in order to remain healthy, and to keep those around you healthy.  Please remember, failure to adhere to these orders has a negative impact on first responders, health care workers, and those required to work to take care of you.

We will continue to update the public with new developments as things progress.  Please visit the Town’s website to view all COVID-19 updates and information from several sources, as information is updated and posted frequently.  And as always, the best source of information on COVID-19 can be found at www.cdc.gov or www.flhealth.org.

Remember, at this time, only you have the ability to control your contacts and limit your exposure in the spread of COVID-19.  Please act responsibly and stay home.
