Public Notice is hereby given and published that the Town of Ocean Ridge, Florida will conduct a Municipal General Election on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, for the purpose of electing one (1) at-large Town Commissioner for a three-year (3-year) term.  The candidate receiving the highest votes in the election shall be elected to serve.  If the Town Clerk receives only enough candidate filings to fill the vacant seats by the qualifying deadline, the vacant seats shall be automatically filled by those who have filed, and the election will be cancelled.

Candidate Qualifying Period: Candidates may qualify during the period 8:30 a.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021 through 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2021. All persons desiring to qualify for candidacy should pick up a qualification package in the Town Clerk’s Office located at Town Hall, 6450 N. Ocean Blvd, Ocean Ridge, FL 33435.  The qualifying package may be picked up before the qualifying period begins.

Qualifications to Run for Office:  Any qualified elector of the Town shall be eligible to hold office of Town Commissioner.  The person must submit the required paperwork to the Town Clerk, as well as pay the filing/assessment fee of $12 from their campaign account at the time of filing.
