Building Department Forms

If you have any questions regarding general permitting, email the Building Clerk or contact her at 561-732-2635.  

When submitting for a building permit, please include the following:

  • One (1) signed and notarized Building Permit Application,
  • Two (2) copies of back-up material (plans, survey, product approvals, etc.),
  • Signed Construction Site Management Handbook, 
  • Two (2) copies of the recorded and certified Notice of Commencement (if applicable),
  • Condo/Association Approval, 
  • Contract/Proposal,
  • State Certified License from the Dept. of Business and Professional Regulation and/or Palm Beach County Business Tax Receipt;
  • Palm Beach County Competency Card,
  • General Liability Insurance,
  • Worker's Compensation (or exemption), and 
  • Payment (cash or check only). 

Three (3) copies may be required if project impacts drainage. Other forms, plans, or approvals may be required depending on the type of project. For more information, please review the General Permitting Information Guide or contact the Building Clerk at 561-732-2635.
