The Treasurer also serves as the Human Resources Administrator for the Town, maintaining all personnel related documents and managing the day-to-day operations of the department. The HR Administrator administers personnel policies, procedures and programs, employee relations, benefits, compensation, and employment; advertises for open positions, accepts resumes and applications, and conducts interviews for Town Hall employees. (Note: The Police Department accepts resumes and applications and conducts interviews for Police Department employees). The HR Administrator conducts new employee orientations, ensuring that all paperwork is completed and filed, and ensuring that all ethics requirements are adhered to. The operational role of the HR Administrator is administrative in nature; ensuring that there is compliance with Town policies, equal employment opportunity, and other employment laws and regulations.
