The Treasurer also serves as the Human Resources Administrator for the Town, maintaining all personnel-related documents and managing the day-to-day operations of the department. The HR Administrator administers personnel policies, procedures and programs, employee relations, benefits, compensation, and employment; advertises for open positions, accepts resumes and applications, and conducts interviews for Town Hall employees. (Note: The Police Department accepts resumes and applications and conducts interviews for Police Department employees). The HR Administrator conducts new employee orientations, ensuring that all paperwork is completed and filed, and ensuring that all ethics requirements are adhered to. The operational role of the HR Administrator is administrative in nature; ensuring that there is compliance with Town policies, equal employment opportunity, and other employment laws and regulations.

EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES - OPEN POSITIONS:
The Town of Ocean Ridge is seeking to fill the position of Chief of Police. This Command Staff position oversees an Atlantic coastal barrier island community with a year-round population of 1,830. The department consists of 16 full-time certified officers (and 2 frozen positions) and six full-time dispatchers, the department currently has several members that are trained as paramedics/EMTs with plans to train and equip additional staff with these skills.
