The Town of Ocean Ridge is requesting sealed bids for the Tropical and Coconut Pump Station Generator Project. Copies of this Invitation to Bid may be obtained from the Demandstar website at www.demandstar.com or from the Town’s website at www.oceanridgeflorida.com. Any addendum issued by the Town will be posted to these websites.

All seal bids must be received by 2:00 pm (as determined by the clock in the Town Clerk’s Office), on March 9, 2022 in a sealed envelope clearly labeled “Town of Ocean Ridge Invitation to Bid Tropical and Coconut Pump Station Generator Project” and delivered to:

Time is of the essence for bid submission. Sealed bids must be received at or before 2:00 pm, March 9, 2022, at which time the bids will be publicly opened at Town Hall located at 6450 North Ocean Blvd., Ocean Ridge, Florida 33435. Timely delivery is solely and strictly the responsibility of the bidder. Bids received after this date and time will not be considered. Submissions by email, facsimile, or other electronic means will not be accepted.

Further instructions and conditions are stated in the Invitation to Bid. The Contract to be awarded is anticipated to be a lump sum contract based on unit prices. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a certified or bank check made payable to the Town as the Owner, or a Bid Bond.  The amount of the security shall not be less than five (5) percent of the Bidder's total price indicated on the Bid Form.

No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 120 days after the scheduled closing date for the receipt of bids except as otherwise provided in the Instructions to Bidders.

The successful Bidder, who is awarded the Contract, shall be required to furnish a 100% Construction Performance Bond and a 100% Construction Payment Bond which meet the requirements of section 255.05, Florida Statutes.

There is a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the Town of Ocean Ridge, Town Hall, 6450 N. Ocean Blvd., Ocean Ridge, FL 33435 on February 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Failure to attend this mandatory pre-bid will result in your bid not being considered.

The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive all nonmaterial irregularities, to re-advertise, and to cancel any invitation to bid when it is in the best interests of the Town.
